Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has indicated that the country may take action inside Afghanistan in response to the recent wave of terrorist attacks.
Speaking in a private news channel program, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan has serious reservations over Afghanistan’s interference and the presence of terrorist sanctuaries on its soil. He made it clear that Pakistan will not ignore the growing threat of terrorism, and if the situation worsens, a strong retaliatory move could be made.

Khawaja Asif further said that most of the terrorists involved in recent attacks are of Afghan origin, adding that “there are no terrorist sanctuaries inside Pakistan.”
Referring to the recent military operation at Wana Cadet College, he praised the Pakistan Army’s professionalism, saying that “by the grace of Allah, all cadets were rescued safely.”
Speaking about India, Khawaja Asif said that New Delhi is using Afghanistan as a route to wage aggression against Pakistan. “No one should be under the illusion anymore — India’s hostile attitude is now out in the open,” he stated.
