Negligence in Quetta Courier Delays NADRA ID Deliveries
Citizens of Quetta have expressed serious concern over delays in receiving their online National Identity Cards and other documents issued by NADRA. The documents, which are sent via Leopards Courier Service, often fail to reach the applicants due to the negligence of the courier staff.
Raheel Shah, a resident of Quetta, stated that the courier staff neither contacts applicants via phone nor attempts home delivery. Instead, they send the important documents — including ID cards — back to Islamabad without any prior notice, forcing citizens to reapply multiple times.
According to sources, dozens of residents face similar issues daily. In several cases, the courier company marks items as “delivered” or “returned” in their system even though the concerned individuals never receive any notification.
Citizens complained that this careless attitude has not only undermined public trust but also affected the efficiency of NADRA’s online system. Affected individuals have demanded that the authorities take immediate notice, hold Leopards Courier Service accountable, and establish an effective mechanism to ensure the timely and secure delivery of ID cards and official documents to the citizens of Quetta.
