PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Egypt for Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit

Sharm El-Sheikh (Web Desk) — Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on the special invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. At Sharm El-Sheikh Airport, he was warmly received by Egypt’s Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt Aamir Shoukat, and senior diplomatic officials from both countries. The Prime Minister will participate in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, being held to finalize a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. Accompanying him are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also attend the signing ceremony of the Gaza Peace Agreement, to be held among U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
