Gold Hits Historic High, Reaches Rs425,178 Per Tola
Gold prices have reached a historic high both internationally and domestically, following a sharp surge in rates.
In the international bullion market, gold rose by $84 per ounce, hitting a new record level of $4,039 per ounce. The impact was immediately felt in Pakistan’s local markets, where the price of gold per tola increased by Rs8,400, reaching a record Rs425,178.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold jumped by Rs7,202, now standing at Rs364,521 — the highest level ever recorded in the country.
