Coldest is intensifying across the nation, especially in the northern regions. According to the Meteorological Department, severe cold is gripping northern areas, and temperatures are dropping in northern regions of Balochistan as well.
The Meteorological Department reported that during the last 24 hours, the lowest temperature recorded in the country was minus 9 degrees Celsius in Skardu.
Additionally, Gilgit, Astore, Hunza, and Sari Nangaar recorded minus 3 degrees, Dir minus 1 degree, Quetta and Kalat at zero degrees, Islamabad 3 degrees, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Peshawar 4 degrees, and Lahore, Faisalabad, Jhelum, Sukkur at 5 degrees.
Nawabshah recorded 7 degrees, and Karachi had the least temperature at 13 degrees Celsius, setting a Coldest record.”
