A tragic road accident occurred near Faqeera Stop in Uthal, where a passenger coach (Al Daud), traveling from Quetta to Karachi, collided head-on with two pickup vehicles coming from Karachi to Khuzdar. The collision resulted in the death of 9 people, while 2 others sustained injuries.
Among the deceased was a police officer, while another officer was seriously injured. Both officers had boarded a pickup in Uthal and were on their way to Bela.
