Quetta: In a tragic incident on the Quetta–Dera Ghazi Khan road, near Mekhtar in the Sar Daki area, unidentified armed men intercepted a passenger coach and brutally killed 12 passengers after forcing them off the vehicle.
According to sources, the assailants had set up a blockade on the road. Upon stopping the coach, they reportedly identified and separated specific individuals before opening fire on them. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the incident.
Law enforcement agencies and local administration arrived at the scene shortly after the attack. The bodies have been shifted to a nearby hospital, and an investigation has been launched.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
