A shocking revelation has emerged regarding Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar, whose body was found in a flat in Karachi’s upscale Defence area — it is believed to be nearly 9 months old. Police say a full investigation is underway, and the cause of death will only be confirmed after the post-mortem report.

Why Was Actress Humaira Asghar’s Body Found So Late?
According to police officials, the scene was examined late at night along with a female medico-legal officer, who collected crucial evidence. Food items found in the flat had expiry dates marked as 2024, suggesting that the death occurred several months ago.
It was further revealed that the actress’s last known message was sent to an online taxi driver in September 2024, while her final contact with the landlord took place in October 2024. After that, her phone was switched off and remained inactive.

Her decomposed body was discovered on July 8, when a court bailiff arrived at the flat following the landlord’s complaint over unpaid rent. When no one answered the door, it was forcibly opened, revealing the actress’s severely decomposed body inside.
The initial post-mortem report confirmed that the body was in an advanced stage of decomposition. According to Karachi Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, the death likely occurred several months ago.
The actress’s brother-in-law has contacted authorities to claim the body. The exact cause of death will only be determined once the final post-mortem report is released.
