Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on December 27 on the death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
According to the details, the Sindh government has also issued a notification of a public holiday on December 27 on the death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
According to the notification, there will be a public holiday across the province on December 27 on the death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, government, private institutions, local councils and administrative offices of the provincial government will remain closed.
Earlier, the Sindh government requested a helicopter from the federal government on the occasion of the 17th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

A helicopter has been requested from the federal interior ministry for aerial surveillance in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on the occasion of the death anniversary.
It should be recalled that on December 27, 2007, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairwoman and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a suicide attack and shooting after a rally in Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi. In addition to her, 20 other people were killed in the attack.
