Zhob Highway Accident: Angry Mob Torches Bus
A tragic incident took place on the Zhob DI Khan National Highway in Sherani district, where a motorcyclist died after being hit by a speeding passenger bus.
After the accident, intense anger spread among the residents of the area, as a result of which the angry crowd set the same passenger bus on fire.
According to Levies sources, the incident took place near Dahana Sar, where a bus going from Quetta to Islamabad hit a motorcyclist,
due to which he died on the spot. On hearing the news of the accident, people from nearby areas gathered in large numbers and expressed their anger and grief.
The angry people stopped the bus, pelted stones at it and later set it on fire, due to which the bus was completely burnt to ashes.
As soon as the incident was reported, Levies and other law enforcement agencies reached the spot and tried to disperse the angry crowd. However, tension remains in the area and additional personnel have been deployed to control the situation.
Authorities say that after identifying the deceased motorcyclist, his family has been informed and an investigation into the matter has been initiated.
On the other hand, legal action will also be taken in the incident of burning the bus after the traffic accident.
Residents of the area demand that traffic rules be strictly implemented on the highways and effective measures be taken to prevent speeding incidents so that such tragic incidents can be avoided in the future.
