The new moon of Dhul-Hijjah 1445 AH will be visible in the sky of Makkah for 11 minutes and in Cairo for 18 minutes after sunset. The first day of Eid-ul-Adha 2024 in Egypt is Sunday, June 16, 2024. while Waqf Arafah will be on June 15. Thus, the month of Zil-Hajj will start on Friday, June 7, 2024. Eid-ul-Adha in Pakistan is likely to be on June 17 or 18, but the final announcement can be made only after the sighting of the moon.
