WhatsApp New Feature: Group Chats More Interesting
The famous messaging app WhatsApp is constantly working on new and interesting features so that users do not turn to any other application.
Now WhatsApp is introducing a feature for users that will help them organize group chats.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, this new feature has just been added to the new beta version of WhatsApp for Android users. Through this users will be able to use labels for themselves in WhatsApp groups.
The screenshot shared in the report shows that you can use labels for yourself as well as for all members of the group.
The report says that when you use labels for a group member. Then it will work only in that group. Separate labels will have to be used for that person in other shared groups.
Additionally, when you use a label for yourself in a group, it will remain in place until you change it.
How Does Label Feature Work?
- Personalized Labels: Users can assign labels to themselves and other members of a WhatsApp group.
- Group-Specific Labels: Labels set for a particular user will only apply within that specific group and not in other shared groups.
- Persistent Labels: Once a label is assigned to a member, it remains until the user chooses to change or remove it.
