However, according to the company, all users will be given access to the new design sequentially. The layout of WhatsApp was previously changed in 2021 and 2020. The app’s layout was first changed in 2012 and again in 2011 when the application was introduced in 2009. WhatsApp’s layout has been changed only five times in the last 15 years and each time improvements have been made.
