Week-Long Public Holiday Announced for Eid-ul-Fitr
The Maldives government has announced a week-long public holiday across the country on Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a statement issued on the instructions of President Dr. Mohamed Moeizu, the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will be from March 31 to April 4,
While the public holidays of Saturday and Sunday will be combined, employees can spend the entire week with their families.
Government offices will reopen on April 6, while the government has directed all institutions to ensure the availability of basic facilities during the holidays.
