We Must Move Forward With The Spirit Of Unity: PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm greetings to the Hindu community on the occasion of Diwali. He said that Diwali is a festival of lights symbolizing the triumph of hope over darkness and despair. The Prime Minister urged all citizens to come together with a positive mindset and a shared vision for the future.

He emphasized that as Pakistanis, “we take pride in our social diversity,” which strengthens the national fabric and promotes shared cultural values. The Prime Minister also appreciated the Hindu community’s contributions in the social, economic, and political spheres, adding that religious diversity is a foundation of unity in Pakistan.

He further stated that the cooperation of the Hindu and other minority communities in the country’s progress is highly commendable. He recalled the vision of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who dreamed of a Pakistan where all communities enjoy equal rights and freedoms regardless of religion or ethnicity. The government, he said, is fully committed to ensuring equal rights and development opportunities for every community.

The Prime Minister concluded his message with a prayer that this Diwali brings peace, prosperity, and strengthens the bonds of brotherhood among people of all faiths in Pakistan.
