“We Know How to Defend Pakistan”: Army Chief’s Strong Message

The two-nation theory has always been the ideological basis for the establishment of Pakistan, which was explained very clearly by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

There is a huge difference in the civilization, religion, culture, language, history, and lifestyle of Muslims and Hindus, and this difference led to the partition of the subcontinent.

Recently, when Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir reiterated the importance of the two-nation theory in his speech and supported Quaid-e-Azam’s ideas, the Indian media tried unsuccessfully to present it as a Hindu card by taking it out of context.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had said bluntly in 1924:

“No! The gulf between Muslims and Hindus is so wide that it can never be bridged.”

On another occasion, he said:

“How can Muslims unite with Hindus?”

He clarified that the history, culture, art, laws, jurisprudence, music, social life and principles of life of Muslims and Hindus are completely different. In the light of this view, the Army Chief said in a recent speech:

“We Muslims are different from Hindus in every aspect of life, our religion, customs, traditions, thinking and aspirations are different. The basis of the two-nation theory is that Muslims and Hindus are two separate nations.”

He said that “Our ancestors made unparalleled sacrifices for the establishment of Pakistan and we know very well how to defend this great homeland.”

The Army Chief emphasized that neither history can be changed nor the ideology of Pakistan can be weakened by the false propaganda of the Indian media and social media.
