VC Mir Chakar Khan Rind University Injured in Road Crash
A serious traffic accident occurred near Mach on the Quetta–Sibi route, involving the vehicle of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi. The car carrying Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mumtaz Baloch and other staff members collided with a freight trailer.
According to initial reports, four individuals, including VC Dr. Mumtaz Baloch and Project Director Jahanzeb Satakzai, sustained injuries. The victims were immediately shifted to Quetta for medical treatment. Authorities confirm that all injured are currently out of danger.
The incident has raised concerns over road safety on national highways and the urgent need for better traffic regulation and emergency response systems.
