US President’s letter to Shahbaz Sharif

Islamabad: Recently, US President Joe Biden contacted Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to express his best wishes. President Biden even wrote a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. This is the first letter the US President has sent to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif since he took office. In the letter, President Biden extended his best wishes to the newly elected government and emphasized the importance of the partnership between the people of the two countries in ensuring world security and safety.

He also pledged that the United States would stand by Pakistan in facing the most pressing challenges confronting the world and the region. President Biden further noted that protecting public health, economic development, and education for all is a shared vision that the two countries will continue to promote together. To strengthen our alliance for environmental improvement, we will also work together through the US-Pakistan Green Alliance Framework.

Moreover, we will continue to support Pakistan in sustainable agricultural development, water management, and recovery from the devastating effects of the 2022 floods. Additionally, President Biden reiterated the US’s commitment to protecting human rights and promoting development in partnership with Pakistan. Finally, he expressed his confidence that the two nations will strengthen their already strong partnership and that the close relations between the people of the two countries will continue to grow stronger
