US Envoy Hosts Pakistan Cricket Team Ahead Of T20 World Cup

The United States Ambassador Donald Blome recently welcomed the Pakistani National Cricket Team to his residence in a show of support ahead of the highly anticipated T20 Cricket World Cup 2024.

The ambassador greeted the national team players and the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and wished them the best of luck for their upcoming matches in the United States. During the meet-and-greet, Ambassador Blome presented the team members with a commemorative embassy cricket ball and an autographed softball bat. In return, the Pakistani team presented the ambassador with a signed cricket bat and team jersey.

The ambassador even participated in an impromptu cricket demonstration with some national team members. The T20 Cricket World Cup is set to take place in the United States in June this year, marking the first time the country will host the event. To add to the excitement, Pakistan and the United States have been placed in the same group stage and are scheduled to compete in a highly anticipated match on June 6.
