US Beware: Iran Vows Total Resistance: Ali Khamenei
Tehran (Monitoring Desk) Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has warned the United States that Iran will never surrender, and if war or unrest is imposed on it, it will respond with full force.
According to Tasnim News Agency, in a televised address to the nation, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Iranian nation will prove to be a leaden wall not only against the imposed war but also against the imposed unrest. He said that history is witness that the Iranian nation cannot be cowed by threats.
Reacting strongly to US President Donald Trump’s recent statements, the Supreme Leader said that Iran will never forget the blood of martyrs, attacks on its territory, and the intentions of the enemy.
He warned Israel that it would have to pay a heavy price for its recent actions.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that if the US tries to intervene militarily, it will suffer irreparable losses.
On the other hand, Iran, while claiming significant defense successes against Israel, has said that its air defense system has shot down another Israeli F-35 stealth fighter jet near Tabriz.
Thus, the number of F-35 aircraft shot down by Iran so far has reached five.
According to Iranian sources, the plane was violating Iranian airspace and was destroyed in a timely action. Iran has also claimed to have shot down another Israeli drone.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military has rejected all these claims, calling them propaganda.
Due to the increasing air clashes and tensions between Iran and Israel in the region, not only is the region on the brink of war, but also the defense industry and stock markets are being affected globally. Shares of the famous American aircraft manufacturer saw a 4% drop in a single day after news of the F-35 disaster.
