UK Deports Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt

Renowned Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has returned to Pakistan after his UK visa was reportedly canceled, leading to his deportation. Sources indicate that the visa cancellation was due to his failure to disclose ongoing legal cases in his visa application.

Rajab Butt had been staying in the UK for several months due to pending legal cases in Pakistan. He departed on a morning flight and is expected to face a case in Pakistan related to the alleged promotion of a gambling app.

Islamabad High Court Grants Protective Bail

Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court has granted protective bail to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Mubarak until December 10, ordering that they not be arrested upon landing at Islamabad Airport. The court has also directed both individuals to appear in court on Wednesday.

Rajab Butt’s lawyer, Advocate Ali Ashfaq Mian, clarified that Rajab Butt was not forcibly deported. He stated that Rajab Butt voluntarily chose to return to Pakistan and surrendered before the Islamabad High Court. Advocate Mian emphasized that over the past two years, he has successfully defended Rajab Butt in three separate cases, proving his innocence.

The court has instructed authorities to ensure no obstacles are placed in Rajab Butt’s way to reach the court, and he is expected to personally appear to comply with the court’s orders.
