Two New Teams Added To PSL?

Even before the start of the 10th season of PSL, the board has brought forward the buyers of 2 new franchises for the 11th edition.

According to sources, 2 Pakistani personalities active in American cricket have expressed interest in buying Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams, on which discussions have been held with the board’s representatives.

Sources say that either of the two personalities can buy a team for the Pakistan Super League, however, an important stakeholder in domestic cricket has also expressed interest in buying a team.

It should be noted that the board has expressed its desire that some PSL matches be held in the United States in the future.

In this regard, league head Salman Naseer is currently visiting various cities in the United States.

It should be noted that earlier, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had also gone there as the country’s Interior Minister to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new US President Donald Trump, where he expressed this desire in a meeting with two Pakistani officials active in American cricket.

It should be noted that most of the team owners in the American Cricket League are Indian, the same is the case with the Cricket Association, in such a situation, it will not be easy for Pakistan to establish a foothold there immediately,

However, it is not appropriate to leave the big market to India alone, which is why the Pakistan Cricket Board is exploring different avenues.

It should be noted that 2 new teams will also be included in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
