Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Pakistan, was given a grand welcome at the Prime Minister’s House.

Upon his arrival at the Prime Minister’s House, Shahbaz Sharif warmly welcomed the Turkish President and First Lady. A salute was also given in their honor, and the national anthems of both countries were also presented.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also made the special guest meet the members of the federal cabinet one by one. Later, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also met by Army Chief General Asim Munir, who welcomed him.

In addition, a formation of F-16 aircraft presented a flypast to the Turkish President and saluted the distinguished guest.

Late last night, the Turkish President, along with the First Lady and investors and business leaders, reached Nur Khan Air Base, where he was given a grand welcome by President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. A 21-gun salute was also given to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Pakistani nation warmly welcomes the Turkish President and his wife, and Pak-Turkish brotherly relations are getting stronger under the leadership of President Erdogan.

In his statement on the arrival of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Pakistan, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that President Erdogan is a visionary politician who has changed Turkey, and Pak-Turkish brotherly relations are getting stronger under the leadership of President Erdogan.

The Prime Minister said that President Erdogan’s visit is aimed at taking the strong relations to greater heights. It should be noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Pakistan on a 2-day visit last night at the invitation of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

The issued statement said that President Asif Ali Zardari and the Prime Minister welcomed the Turkish President at Nur Khan Airbase. In addition, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister for Information, and other high officials were also present to welcome him.

According to the statement, JF-17 aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force brought the Turkish President’s plane to Islamabad in Hisa. Pakistan Air Force aircraft gave an aerial reception in Pakistani airspace.

The military band also traditionally welcomed the Turkish President, school children dressed in traditional attire welcomed the Turkish President, and a 21-gun salute was given in his honor upon the arrival of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the state-run TV PTV News, the Turkish President will also address the Pak-Turkey Business and Investment Forum,

Businessmen, representatives, and heads of investment companies will participate in the business forum.

In addition, agreements and memorandums of understanding will also be signed between Pakistan and Turkey in various sectors.

Earlier, a statement issued by the Foreign Office Spokesperson said that during the visit, Shehbaz Sharif and President Erdogan will jointly chair the seventh meeting of the Pak-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
