Trump Warns: Nations Buying Iranian Oil Will Face US Sanctions

Washington – US President Donald Trump has given a clear warning that any country or individual who buys oil or petrochemicals from Iran will face US sanctions and will not be able to have any kind of trade relationship with the US.

In his statement, President Trump said that buying and selling oil from Iran is not only a violation of international norms but will also further increase tensions in the region.

The US wants economic pressure to be maintained on Iran so that it limits its nuclear activities.

Meanwhile, according to the Omani Foreign Ministry, the fourth round of nuclear talks between Iran and the US, which was scheduled to be held on Saturday, has been canceled. The two countries will announce a new date soon by mutual consent.

It should be noted that negotiations between the US and Iran have been ongoing since last month to limit Iran’s nuclear program and ease sanctions.

There have been three rounds of talks so far in which it was agreed to continue, but in the context of recent tensions, the negotiation process has stalled.
