Trump Admin Mulls Travel Bans On 43 Countries, Including Pakistan

The Trump administration has started considering imposing travel restrictions on 43 countries, three categories have been created, including Pakistan.

According to US media, the Trump administration is considering imposing travel restrictions on citizens of 43 countries.

Under the new travel restrictions, different countries will be included in 3 groups. The first red group includes 11 countries including Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, and North Korea.

The second list, which has been named the orange list, includes 10 countries including Pakistan and Russia. The yellow list includes 20 countries. Complete travel restrictions will be imposed on citizens of countries included in the red list.

Immigrant and tourist visas of citizens of countries included in the orange list will be restricted, while business travelers may be allowed to enter the United States with certain conditions.

Countries that could be added to the red list include Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Venezuela and Yemen. Twenty countries, including Chad, Dominica and Liberia, are being considered for inclusion in the yellow list.

Citizens of these countries will have 60 days to address any concerns about their visa applications.

Trump signed three executive orders during his first term to ban citizens of several Muslim countries from entering the United States.

The ban was called the Muslim ban. A US official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the travel ban lists could change.
