In Sira Khala Dam near Zarghoonabad, Quetta, was marred by tragedy when Mohammad Alam, a fifteen-year-old, met with an accident while bathing. Accodring to police, his sister Rahima Bibi, aged fourteen, and their father, Muhammad Hassan, aged thirty-eight, attempting to save him. However, drowned in the water of the dam and claiming the lives of all three family members.
As soon as the incident was reported, the rescue teams reached the spot removed the dead bodies from the dam and shifted them to Civil Hospital Quetta. All three are referred to as local residents.
This devastating incident serves as a poignant reminder of the dangers inherent in water bodies and underscores the importance of water safety awareness in communities.
