Arshad Nadeem, the national hero who won the gold medal for Pakistan in the Paris Olympics, received a warm welcome on his arrival at Lahore Airport.
Arshad Nadeem and Pakistan Zindabad slogans were raised at the airport, citizens carried their hero on their shoulders.
Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem’s flight TK 714 landed twenty-seven minutes late at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport at 1:25 PM.
Arshad Nadeem’s plane was greeted by a water cannon salute at the airport.
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Chairman of Prime Minister Youth Program Rana Mashhood, former Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, and other political leaders including Shaza Fatima welcomed Arshad Nadeem at the airport.
Arshad Nadeem’s father Airport State Lounge hugged his son and garlanded him with flowers, Saad Rafiq, Uzma Bukhari, and others also garlanded Arshad Nadeem.
Arshad Nadeem is greeted by a throng of fans at the airport, thousands of people eager to catch a glimpse of their hero.
Arshad Nadeem’s family members, loved ones, and admirers have also arrived at Lahore Airport in large numbers from Mian Chanu, the hometown of Arshad Nadeem.

National hero Arshad Nadeem while speaking at Lahore Airport said that I thank the nation for giving me respect.
Arshad Nadeem said I thank Allah for winning the gold medal in the Paris Olympics. Allah honored with the prayers of the nation and parents.
He said that there was a long journey behind this success, he worked day and night to get the medal.
On exiting the airport, Arshad Nadeem was taken on a decker given the large number of fans, Arshad Nadeem got on the bus thanked the fans, and responded to the slogans and love of the people by raising his hands.
On this occasion, fans walked along with the bus, and banners and tall photos of Arshad Nadeem were also placed at the exit of Lahore Airport.
Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal in the javelin competition at the Paris Olympics with a record throw of 92.97 meters.
It should be noted that Arshad Nadeem has won the gold medal for Pakistan after 40 years in the javelin throw event final.
Arshad Nadeem is the first Pakistani athlete to win a gold medal in an Olympic individual event.
