PM Assured Cooperation and Accepted demands from CM KP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, had a positive meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The Prime Minister welcomed Gandapur to the Prime Minister’s House, where Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Amir Maqam, and other senior government officials were present. During the meeting, Gandapur informed the Prime Minister about the administrative affairs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the financial difficulties the province was facing.

The Prime Minister assured Gandapur that he would cooperate and pay the dues of the province that were owed by the federal government. Gandapur also raised the matter of meeting with the founder of PTI regarding the Senate election. The Prime Minister assured Gandapur that he should meet with the founder of PTI soon.

Gandapur emphasized the importance of political engagement from the founder of PTI to solve political problems. The Prime Minister acknowledged the mandate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that whoever wants to bring the team should bring it. During the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Planning,

also assured Gandapur that the federal government would play every possible role in peace and development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Lastly, the Chief Minister mentioned the issue of electricity load-shedding during Sehar and Iftar and requested power supply during these times. The Prime Minister directed concerned authorities to ensure power supply during these times and also assured that there would be no injustice against anyone.
