According to government sources, the meeting of the negotiation committees of the Muslim League-N and the PPP was held in Islamabad today. On behalf of the PPP, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Ali Haider Gilani, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Hasan Murtaza were included in the negotiation committee, while the speaker represented the Muslim League-N. Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan, Rana Sanaullah, and Khawaja Saad Rafiq among other leaders.
Sources say that the government has accepted all the demands of PPP, development funds, and administrative positions in Punjab will also be given preference to PPP.
Sources say that the third round of negotiations took place at the Prime Minister’s House, while the PPP’s negotiation team will inform Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari about the details of the negotiations tomorrow.
Yesterday, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah had said that all the demands of the People’s Party were legitimate and they have been accepted.
