Terrorists Attack Levies Post In Kalat, One Martyred
Kalat: Terrorist attack on Levies check post, one official martyred, two injured
A policeman was martyred and two were injured in a terrorist attack on a Levies check post in Kalat.
According to Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind, Levies Force personnel retaliated immediately, after which the attackers retreated and fled.
The spokesperson said that a search operation is underway to arrest the suspects, while the injured personnel have been shifted to Quetta.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the attack and paid tribute to martyred Levies personnel Ali Nawaz.
He said that Ali Nawaz bravely fought the terrorists and died while performing his duty.
Mohsin Naqvi further said that the sacrifices of the security forces will not go in vain and all possible steps will be taken to establish peace and order in the country.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Levies check post in Kalat.
He paid tribute to the martyred Levies officer Ali Nawaz and said that he salutes the brave soldier who sacrificed his life for the peace of the country.
The Prime Minister prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks and patience for the family, while also expressing his best wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured officers.
He said that terrorists are enemies of the development and progress of Balochistan and their nefarious intentions will not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances.
The Prime Minister reiterated his resolve that strict action against terrorists will continue to ensure the security of the country and the peace and security of the people.
He added that the sacrifices of Levies officers will not go in vain and the government will take all possible steps to restore peace and security.
