Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has sent a clear message to the Taliban regime in Afghanistan that they have no option but to choose between Kharijites or Pakistan.
At GHQ Rawalpindi, Field Marshal Asim Munir was presented with a Guard of Honor, with troops from all three armed forces paying their respects. The heads of the Pakistan Air Force and Navy were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the officers of the armed forces, the Field Marshal stated that the establishment of the new Defence Forces Headquarters marks a historic transformation, serving as a crucial step to coordinate and harmonize operations across all three services.
He emphasized the need to enhance multi-domain operations under a unified command system while allowing each service to maintain its operational uniqueness. The Defence Forces Headquarters will integrate and synchronize operational activities of all branches.
Field Marshal Munir also warned India that next time, Pakistan’s response will be swift and decisive. He reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving country, but no one will be allowed to challenge Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, or resolve.
Recalling Pakistan’s success in the Battle of Truth (Ma’raka-e-Haq), he highlighted that Pakistan had destroyed enemy air defenses and shot down seven advanced enemy aircraft under his leadership.
