Syedaal Khan Highlights Balochistan Development Priorities

Deputy Chairman Senate Syed Ali Khan Nasser held a meeting with a delegation of tribal elders, leaders, and representatives from various communities of Balochistan at the Parliament House, Islamabad. The discussion focused on the overall development of Balochistan, public welfare, law and order situation, and ongoing federal development projects in the province.

The delegation congratulated Syed Ali Khan on performing the pilgrimage of Umrah and extended their best wishes.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman Senate Syed Ali Khan stated that the development, prosperity, and stability of Balochistan are among the top priorities of the federal government. He emphasized that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Government of Pakistan is implementing multiple initiatives to provide basic facilities, improve education and healthcare, create employment opportunities, and enhance infrastructure in underdeveloped areas to bring sustainable positive change to people’s lives.

He added that the federal government is taking serious steps to integrate Balochistan into the national development mainstream. Projects such as the operationalization of Gwadar Port, road networks, energy initiatives, effective utilization of mineral resources, and establishment of industrial zones are laying the foundation for a bright and stable future for the province.

Syed Ali Khan highlighted that the people of Balochistan are patriotic, courageous, and talented, consistently contributing to the country’s security, stability, and development. He reaffirmed that better coordination between federal and provincial institutions, along with transparent strategies, is being ensured to accelerate and enhance the effectiveness of the development process in the province.

He also stressed that the youth of Balochistan are a valuable asset for Pakistan, and special attention is being given to their education, technical training, and employment opportunities to enable them to actively participate in national development.

The delegation praised the federal government’s developmental initiatives and priority policies for Balochistan, noting that for the first time, the government is practically addressing the real issues of the province based on ground realities. They commended Deputy Chairman Senate Syed Ali Khan for his efforts, public representation, and effective role in advocating for Balochistan.

In conclusion, Syed Ali Khan reaffirmed his commitment to raising the voice of Balochistan’s people in the Upper House and ensuring that the journey of development and prosperity continues, laying a stronger foundation for a stable, prosperous Pakistan.
