Three students from the Food and Science Technology department at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University have been dismissed by the vice chancellor after an investigation into claims of sexual harassment made by two students at the Arid university government hostel.
The university’s Discipline Committee, which has released an official notification about the situation, made suggestions that served as the basis for the judgment.
The disciplinary committee concluded its inquiry, the university administration said, and recommended that three students be expelled and have their degrees, enrollments, and results revoked.
Muneeb Ahmed, Muhammad Aneeb Ayaz, and Saad Wahab, the expelled students, were in their last semester at the Food Science and Technology Department. They have been taken into custody by the Sadiqabad police, and a complaint has already been filed against them.
The expelled students now have the opportunity to challenge the ruling thanks to the University Inquiry Committee. According to university sources, the three students belonged to a political group on campus.
Knowledge workers are complaining that students are bothering them with inappropriate behavior such as suggestive looks, obscene comments, and other actions. For this reason, the present study examined the impact of student sexual harassment on instructors’ burnout.
Data indicates that teachers who endure sexual harassment from their students are more likely to become burned out, and that affective commitment has a detrimental impact on burnout. Despite its limitations, the research makes a significant contribution to theory. In addition to protecting against teacher burnout and work withdrawal among those who have been the victims of such behavior, it provides helpful recommendations to university administration that can be used to stop sexually offensive student behavior.
In addition to the accused parties, cell phones and a sizable bank check were found, offering more proof of their illegal activity. Legal proceedings have been launched against the primary suspect in the scam.
In an effort to look into any possible conspiracy, authorities are also closely examining the Call Detail Records (CDR) of the ETA employees working at the examination centers. Anwar disclosed that pertinent organizations have made formal requests for the network server’s IP address information, which is linked to the devices.
