Strong Earthquake Tremors Shake Rawalpindi and Islamabad
Strong tremors were felt in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Chakwal City and Garndawah.
Earthquake tremors have also occurred in different areas of Azad Kashmir. Severe tremors were also felt in Samahni, Bhimber, Murree, and surrounding areas.
Earthquake tremors were also felt in Tala Gang, Kalhar Kahar, Gujar Khan, Rawat, Kahuta, Taxila, and Kallar Saidan.
The Seismological Center says that the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 4.8 on the Richter scale, while the epicenter was 8 kilometers southeast of Rawalpindi.
