Storms Hit Punjab, 15 Dead In Accidents
The Meteorological Department has predicted more rains and strong winds in various parts of the country, including Islamabad,
in the coming days, while the death toll in various accidents during the previous day’s rains has reached 15.
According to the latest advisory, intermittent rain, strong winds, and hailstorms are likely in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and northern Balochistan, which may affect normal life and travel patterns.
Affected areas:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, Mansehra, Peshawar, Kohat, DI Khan, and many other districts
Punjab: Rawalpindi, Murree, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Mianwali, Sargodha, Sialkot, Layyah, Bhakkar, and others
Balochistan: Zhob, Musakhel, Khuzdar, Loralai, Barkhan, and some places in Awaran
On the other hand, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most parts of Sindh and Balochistan, while dusty winds have been predicted along the coastal belt.
The Meteorological Department has directed travelers, farmer,s and local authorities to take precautionary measures and stay informed about the latest weather conditions.
