Pakistani mountaineer Sarbaz Khan created a new chapter in the country’s mountaineering history.
Sarbaz Khan has become the first Pakistani to climb all 14 peaks in the world above 8,000 meters which is an extraordinary feat.
In the latest achievement, Sarbaz Khan climbed the 8027m Sheshapangma peak, his 14th Eight Thousand peak.
After climbing this peak, he has become one of the few mountaineers in the world who have achieved this honor.
Sarbaz Khan’s journey started with the summit of Nanga Parbat in 2017 and after that, he climbed the world’s most dangerous peaks including K-2, Lhotse, and Everest.
Importantly, Sarbaz Khan climbed 11 of these peaks without artificial oxygen, which is considered a very difficult and dangerous feat.
Sarbaz Khan also summited Chu Oyo in 2023 and has now climbed Sheshapangma to become the first Pakistani to complete this historic goal.
