The yearly matric and intermediate tests will now take place in March rather than during the busiest summer months, as revealed by Muhammad Ali Malkani, Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards.
During the opening of a facilitation center at the Karachi Inter Board, Malkani said that the tests will henceforth take place concurrently with the national exams.

Earlier this year, during load-shedding at multiple locations throughout the province, a number of pupils passed out during exams. The government reviewed the exam timetable in response to this circumstance in order to provide students some relief.

The minister also announced Sindh’s move away from human intervention in evaluation processes and toward technology-based ones. “We will implement an electronic marking system for exams by 2025,” he stated.

The minister of universities and boards announced that we will switch to a technology-based assessment for the entire state of Sindh and minimize the amount of human participation in the evaluation process. “By 2025, we’ll be using electronic marking for exams.”
