In various cities of Sindh, including the provincial capital Karachi, a ban has been imposed on the double riding of motorcycles from September 13 to 17.
According to Dawn News, a notification has been issued to ban double riding of motorcycles, the cities in which the ban has been imposed include Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, and Sukkur.
On the request of IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, a ban has been imposed by the Sindh Home Department.
Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori has written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, and Chairman PEMRA for a public holiday on 11 Rabi Awwal.
Kamran Tesuri said that Rabi-ul-Awwal is a very holy month for the Muslim Ummah, 11 days of Rabi-ul-Awwal should be a public holiday, thus people will get an opportunity to celebrate Eid Milad-ul-Nabi with religious enthusiasm.
