Sibi Sizzles at 47°C as Heatwave Grips Balochistan
Quetta (Reporter) According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain hot and dry in most areas of Balochistan, while the weather is likely to be partly cloudy in the southern districts.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected in Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Awaran, and surrounding areas at night.
According to the department’s report, the maximum temperature was recorded in Quetta at 35 degrees Celsius, while in Kalat it was 31, in Ziarat 2,5, and in Zhob the temperature reached 36 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, the highest temperature was recorded in Sibi today at 47 degrees Celsius, while in Turbat it was 45, in Nokundi 43, in Chaman 37, in Gwadar 36, and in Jiwani 35 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has directed the public to take precautionary measures due to the intense heat and possible rain.
Citizens living in the southern district, in particular, have been instructed to stay in safe places during the rain and possible storms
