During the historic Gaza Peace Agreement ceremony, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shehbaz Sharif was given a grand acknowledgment for his significant role in promoting peace. On this occasion, U.S. President Donald Trump praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s contributions and invited him to the stage.
In his speech, President Trump said:
“I want to thank the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif. My favorite Pakistani Field Marshal is not here today, but Shehbaz Sharif is — and that’s an honor for me.”
Afterward, President Trump invited the Pakistani Prime Minister to the podium.
In his address, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said:
“Today is one of the greatest days in modern history because, after tireless efforts, we have finally achieved peace.”
The Prime Minister appreciated President Trump’s leadership, calling him a genuine advocate of peace who worked day and night over the past several months to make the world a cradle of peace and prosperity.
He revealed that Pakistan had previously nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize due to his extraordinary efforts, which helped halt the war between India and Pakistan and made a ceasefire possible.
Shehbaz Sharif further stated:
“Once again, I wish to nominate this great president for the Nobel Peace Prize because I truly believe he is the most sincere and deserving candidate for peace.”
He added that President Trump not only brought peace to South and East Asia but also saved countless lives, and today’s peace in Gaza is equivalent to saving millions of lives across the Middle East.
