Shahbaz Sharif Announces Special Courts for Overseas Pakistanis

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, including important political and social figures, attended the ceremony on the third day of the Overseas Pakistanis Convention.

More than 1200 overseas Pakistanis living around the world are participating in this convention, who have arrived in Pakistan especially for this event.

Addressing the Overseas Pakistanis Convention, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif appreciated the services of overseas Pakistanis and made some important announcements for them. What are those announcements? Let us know.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced the establishment of special courts for the cases of overseas Pakistanis.

Addressing the Overseas Pakistanis Convention, Shahbaz Sharif said that special courts have been established in Islamabad for overseas Pakistani,s and work is underway in Punjab.

He said that other provinces will also work on special courts and overseas Pakistanis will be able to appear on video link.

The Prime Minister announced that a 5% quota is being allocated for children of overseas Pakistanis in all universities.

Out of 10,000 seats in universities, 5% seats will be for overseas Pakistanis, and the quota for overseas Pakistanis in medical colleges will be 15%.

The Prime Minister had said that 3,000 children of overseas Pakistanis will be admitted to medical colleges. 5,000 children of overseas Pakistanis will be taught skills. There is a 5-year relaxation in the age limit for overseas Pakistanis in government jobs.

He said that online cell death registration has been started in Punjab. A special office has been allocated for overseas Pakistanis.

The Board of Revenue has set up a special cell in Punjab to facilitate overseas Pakistanis.

Orders have been issued to build a feasibility study for an international airport in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir. The Prime Minister said that in March, overseas Pakistanis sent a record remittance of $4.1 billion. The remittances of overseas Pakistanis are more than our total exports, and awards will be given to 15 Pakistanis who send the most remittances every year.

He further said that overseas Pakistanis would be given civil awards for their services.

The Prime Minister said that today our Pakistanis have come here from Europe, America, and the Gulf, 10 million Pakistanis are settled in different parts of the world, overseas Pakistanis have earned halal livelihood through their hard work day and night and have increased the prestige of Pakistan in all countries.

He said that more than 10 million overseas Pakistanis have served their homeland, overseas Pakistanis have made their place with hard work and dedication, overseas Pakistanis are also our ambassadors, overseas Pakistanis are the crown of our heads, overseas Pakistanis have made a name for themselves in medicine, engineering and other fields.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the 240 million people of Pakistan and the SEZs salute the Pakistanis.
