One terrorist was killed and two others were injured as a result of the action of security forces in the Hoshab district of Balochistan province.
In a statement issued by ISPR, it was said that on July 24, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Hoshab district of Balochistan.
In this regard, it was informed that during the operation, there was a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists, as a result of which the terrorist Ali Jan was sent to hell while two terrorists were injured.
The statement said that the terrorists were involved in several terrorist activities including kidnapping and target killing of innocent civilians in the area, while arms, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorist.
In this regard, it was said that a sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate more terrorists in the area.
The ISPR said that Pakistan’s security forces are determined to work with the nation to thwart attempts to sabotage the peace and stability of Balochistan.
It should be noted that during the last few years, there has been an enormous increase in terrorist attacks in the country, especially in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
According to the PICSS report, the dangerous trend of terrorism and suicide attacks continued in the first half of the current year in which 389 people lost their lives across the country.
These 432 deaths include 281 martyrdoms of civilians and security forces personnel.
