The security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have foiled the cowardly attack of terrorists on Bannu Cantt by taking effective action.
At 5 a.m. on Monday, the terrorists tried to enter the cant by detonating a car full of explosives on the road between the outer wall of Bannu Cantt and the supply depot.
Which was thwarted by the security forces taking timely action.
As a result of strong retaliatory action by the security forces, the terrorists were surrounded from one side of the cant, after which the security forces started a clearance operation.
According to media reports, terrorists blew up a car full of explosives at Bannu Cantt Kohati Gate.
The blast broke the windows of the nearby buildings and some roofs also collapsed.
After the explosion, the miscreants started heavy firing, injuring 8 people, including women and children, as the windows of the houses were hit by the gunfire and shattered.
