Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against the Indian-backed terrorist group Fitnah-e-Hindustan in Kalat, resulting in the elimination of 8 terrorists.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on December 24, security forces received information about the presence of terrorists in Kalat district. Acting promptly, they targeted terrorist hideouts effectively. Following a fierce exchange of fire, 8 terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed group were killed.
ISPR further stated that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the slain terrorists, who had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
Clearance and search operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists operating under foreign sponsorship in the region. Under the National Action Plan and the federally approved vision “Azm-e-Istiqamat”, security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue counter-terrorism operations until foreign-sponsored terrorism is completely eradicated.
