Security Concerns Rise in Balochistan Amid Multiple Attacks

A total of five people were killed and several injured in the violent incidents that took place in Quetta and Panjgur.

The first incident took place in the Shaban area of ​​Quetta, where two policemen at a security post were martyred and one was injured in firing by unknown gunmen.

On the other hand, one person was killed in an alleged explosive device explosion on Qambrani Road,

while panic spread in the area. The third incident took place in the customs area of ​​Panjgur, where unknown gunmen attacked the customs post.

Two people were killed and two passers-by were injured as a result of the firing. Security forces have cordoned off the area after all the incidents and started an investigation, while the dead and injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemns attack on police check post in Quetta

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the incident of firing at a police check post in the Shaban area of ​​Quetta.

The Interior Minister, while paying tribute to the two police personnel who were martyred in the incident, said that the personnel attained the high status of martyrdom while performing their duty, and their sacrifice will always be remembered.

Mohsin Naqvi expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs and said that the government shares their grief equally.

He further said that he salutes the sacrifice of the police personnel and the law enforcement agencies will take all possible steps to restore law and order in the country.

The Interior Minister directed the concerned authorities to arrest the elements involved in the incident as soon as possible and bring them to justice.
