School Holiday Announced Again
A public holiday has been declared across Islamabad on December 16.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon has issued a notification regarding the public holiday, according to which all educational institutions across the district will remain closed tomorrow.
A notification of the holiday has been issued in memory of the martyrs of the Army Public School Peshawar tragedy.
Rawalpindi
Earlier, a public holiday was declared in all educational institutions of Rawalpindi district for tomorrow, a notification of which has also been issued.
According to the notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, all educational institutions across the district will remain closed on December 16.
Lahore
DC Lahore has announced that all public and private schools and colleges in the city will remain closed tomorrow, December 16, while all universities will remain open.
Sindh
The Sindh government has announced a 2-day holiday, a notification has also been issued by the provincial government in this regard.
It states that a public holiday has been declared in all government offices on Wednesday, December 25, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, while a holiday has been declared on December 26 for Christian employees in connection with Christmas.
