Roshan Digital Account Inflows Increase To $165 Million In August

Gross foreign exchange inflows through the Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) stood at $165 million in August 2024, compared to $161 million in the previous month and $130 million in August 2023.

Net inflows (Gross inflow fewer funds repatriated) under RDA clocked in at US$ 143 million in August 2024 vs the last 6-month average of US$ 169 million and an average of US$ 144 million since its launch in September 2020.


Overall RDA funds received to date increased to $8.581 billion by the end of August 2024. Till the end of August, $1.646 billion have been repatriated with $5.441 billion utilized locally. The net repatriable liability was at $1.494 billion.

From September 2020 to August 2024, total net investments made through RDA stood at $1.036 billion.

NPC Investments (Conventional) stood at $370 million, while NPC Investments (Islamic) were recorded at $638 million.

Roshan Equity Investments came in at $41 million. The Balances in Accounts were recorded at $412 million with Other Liabilities coming in at $33 million.As per data, 735,113 RDAs have been opened since they were launched, representing a 1.6 percent increase on a month-on-month basis.
