Retired DG ISI, Lieutenant General (R) Faiz Hameed, has been sentenced to 14 years of rigorous imprisonment.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a Field General Court Martial was initiated against Faiz Hameed on 12 August 2024 under the provisions of the Pakistan Army Act.

The ISPR further stated that the court martial process lasted 15 months, after which Lt. Gen. (R) Faiz Hameed was convicted and handed the 14-year sentence.
