Relief for Expats: Govt May Cut Mobile Tax
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced important steps to resolve the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis
. Addressing the ongoing Overseas Convention in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said that a reduction in tax on mobile phones brought from abroad is being considered.
He also announced the restoration of the Green Channel facility at airports so that better facilities can be provided to overseas Pakistanis.
The Prime Minister further said that decisions on cases related to properties of overseas Pakistanis will now be made in 60 days instead of 90 days.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and other dignitaries also attended the Overseas Convention.
