Ramadan 2024: Expected Office Timings in Pakistan from March 12

It is expected that first Ramadan in Pakistan will be on 11th March, 2024. In this Holy month Muslims will keep fast for one whole month. Office timings also changes in this month of Ramadan. Federal government of Pakistan has also announced the new office timing for month of Ramazan. On this page we have published the Ramadan timing schedule 2024 for Pakistan both in Urdu and English languages.

Federal Office Timings

This Ramadan office timing schedule has been issued through a notification by a section officer of cabinet secretariat establishment division. This schedule 2024 is official as it has been announced through a govt notification. It has been decided that those office which remain open for 6 days in a week, will remain open from 10 AM to 3 PM in 5 days of week i.e from Monday to Thursday. Office timing of such office will be from 10 AM to 1 PM on Friday.

Balochistan Office Timings

According to the issued notification, the regular office hours for government offices will start from 9 AM till 3 PM, allowing employees to conclude their work by early afternoon, meanwhile, the office hours will be further reduced on Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM.

For offices operating six days a week, the new timings for Ramadan will be from 9 AM to 2 PM on regular days, however, on Fridays, these offices will conclude operations earlier, closing at 12:00 pm.

Punjab

The Punjab government is expected to revise the office timings for the holy month of Ramadan, which is expected to commence from March 12 in Pakistan. The timings for the government offices are revised every year in the sacred Islamic month to facilitate people with fast

The government is likely to issue two different working hours for offices keeping in view their working days in a week. The offices working on five-days a week is expected to open at 10:30 AM and close at 4:00 PM on Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the office working hours would be from 9 AM to 1 PM.

The offices operating six days a week are expected to open at 10:30 AM and close at 4 PM on Monday to Thursday and Saturday during Ramadan 2024. However, the closing time on Fridays would be 1 PM.

Sindh

The provincial government’s Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department released a notification unveiling new office timings. During Ramadan, government offices will operate five or six days a week based on their designated schedules.

For offices operating five days a week, the timings will be from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday, and from 10 AM to 1 PM on Fridays. Meanwhile, offices operating six days a week will observe timings from 10 AM to 3 PM Monday through Thursday and Saturday, with Fridays closing at 1 PM.
